So, I've decided that when Brian and I buy our own place (hopefully later this year, but who knows), I'm gonna send him away for the weekend to stay with his best friend in California and you guys are ALL invited to sleep on our spare bed/couches/floors in our new house.

The Lit Thread Meet Up shall happen.

Oh, yes.

It shall.


(I'm not drunk. The icon just seemed appropriate for how I imagine the weekend might go. lol)

I love it out here. It's so pretty, all mountains and lakes and green. I feel really lucky to live here. The weather isn't always the best, but when it's nice it's amazing. If you like city life and all that, there are lots of great city areas, or if you like more artsy, laid back, coffee shop/art gallery places, there are those as well (that's the town we live in. hehe). And in between those there are quiet little neighborhoods. It's a really awesome place to live, IMO. I can't think of anything that the Seattle area doesn't have to offer.

Gah. Got so caught up in gushing about where I live that I forgot to ask about where you live! :$

You said Australia, right? I've always thought it looked so amazing there. My Grandfather is actually over there for the first time right now because his brother has been living there for about 40 years and he's visiting them. And my aunt and uncle spent a month road tripping around Australia about 10 years ago. My mom was so jealous because she always wanted to go and now she's too put off by the long flights. hehe.

What's it like where you live? Did you ever get the chance to see Hanson in Australia? (I know that's random, but they've been there so few times)

Haha, that's okay. :) Yes I'm in Australia. In Melbourne infact. Well a suburb of it anyway. I was born here and grew up in Hobart which is in Tasmania -the island off the bottom of mainland Australia. And then I came back here. I know both places like the back of my hand. Hobart is nice enough to grow up in but then you have to get out before it does your head in. There's nothing to do down there except for bush walk, camp, etc. Melbourne is great. It's big enough to get lost in, but small enough to feel safe in. But I am very gypsy like and I love to move around so I think I need to get my boots on and get over to England soon.


Haha everyone is always in love with Australia. It really is an amazing country but I think we take it for granted too much. If you ever get over here, make sure you go to Byron Bay! HEAVEN! :) I'm meant to be going back at Easter but I don't know that it will happen as I'm broke. And that breaks my heart.


Yes yes I've seen Hanson while they've been over here. It's like my world stops when they're here. Drop everything and GO! Haha. I've seen them six times and I think met them 3 or 4 times. :)

Hehe. Most of the people on my flist use that word to describe someone who is adorable in a dorky way... or that's what I always assumed it meant anyway. lol. That's what I think of when I think of Adam.

I did see In The Land of Women on a flight last summer. :) It wasn't my favorite movie ever, but Adam was awesome in it and Olympia Dukakis was soooo good.

I saw it at the cinema. It was a little awkward in places but I quite liked that it was like that. I think it was just nice to see him do something that wasn't the OC.

But we can totally do that. Although I'm just gonna stick with the dancing part and leave my clothes on. I don't think it's fair to have everyone travel in from out of state and then subject them to me in my undies.
